Some background checking is at least required
Some background checking is at least required when you venture into uncharted territory. That is what it is when youre appointing a new workforce. The applicant may look all righteous on the face, and their rsum might proclaim them the most qualified of all personnel. But it goes without saying that this could easily have been an error of omission or commission. People lie; and the resultant, if you do not do your job right, is that they could wreck your dealings once and for good. In a similar way to how businesses run background checks on potential members of staff, parents need to do some checking on the schools into which they enroll their kids. There is no telling what events might have taken place on the premises that the school is being hush about, or what member of staff they find indispensable but really should let go. You want to be sure that your brood grow up in the right environs. It might seem rude, but sometime we need to do research on the people we employ. As a matter of fact, it is lawful. Because we cannot tell all there is about a person from a single meet, an exam, and an interview, we need the extra details we can uncover from taking a peek at their past. Armed with this information, we can rest easy that were making the right decisions. Some say ignorance is bliss; others say knowledge is power. I say simply, that ignorance is one very expensive way to live blissfully. Picture being blissfully unaware that the manager you just employed is siphoning millions out of the company account. To think you could have been empowered by the knowledge you garnered of his criminal background through a simple background check. Bliss indeed! You could be lucky to employ some new guy, and he would be all you ever dreamt of. Then again, you could be so unlucky; this fellow could turn out to be the devil of your nightmares. There just is no way of making absolutely sure without doing a background check on the chap. You cant base all of your assumptions on outward appearances.
